Mai Shiranui is the second Fatal Fury character who joined the roster of Street Fighter 6. It’s a very big deal for the entire fighting games community (FGC), as it’s the first time ever the legendary Street Fighter series has collaboration characters in its main series.

Say hello to Mai: SF6 Fighting Pass details
It’s one of the monthly Fighting Pass seasons in Street Fighter 6. Say Hello to Mai is active from Feb. 5 to Feb. 26: it was released with the same SF6 update that brought Mai to the game.
- The Street Fighter 6 Fighting Pass Say Hello to Mai has Free and Premium tiers.
- The Premium tiers cost 250 Fighter Coins, and you get them back after reaching tier 30. The cost of 250 FC in one package is $6.99.
Street Fighter 6 Mai update
Alongside the new DLC character, Street Fighter 6 got some fresh content.

- Character guide and combo trials for the new character
- A time-limited V-Rivals: Professor Woshige’s Luke, Cammy, and Akuma
While there are no big balance changes as it was with the SF6 update from Dec. 2, 2024, the developers have made many quality-of-life improvements. All of them are described in the official Street Fighter 6 Patch Notes for the Mai update. This SF6 maintenance is over, and you can check the adjustments directly in the game.
