Schedule

The SF6 tournament at the Esports World Cup 2025 continues for four days. Here is the schedule.

  • Aug. 20: Upper matches in all 12 groups of the First Phase
  • Aug. 21: Lower matches of the First Phase.
  • Aug. 22: Round robin matches of the Second Phase, four groups

The stream starts at 8 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. CEST on Day 1. On all the other tournament day, the start time is 10 a.m. ET / 4 p.m. CEST

Results of the Street Fighter 6 Esports World Cup 2025

Out of 48 participants in the starting First Phase, 24 advance further.

  • Upper bracket winners from 12 groups proceed to the playoffs.
  • Lower bracket winners go to the round robin stage.

The Second Phase features round robin matches in four groups. The group winners advance to the final brackets.

The SF6 EWC 2025 playoffs are for the top 16 players: 12 from the First Phase and four from the Second Phase. The final tournament phase consists of single-elimination brackets with the first-to-five matches.

First Phase

During this phase, all 48 participants are divided into 12 double-elimination groups.

On Day 1, everyone plays their matches: upper brackets. Those who achieve two wins advance directly to the SF6 EWC 2025 playoffs.

  • Group winners who qualify for the final brackets: Group A #1, Group B #1, Group C #1, Group D #1, Group E #1, Group F #1, Group G #1, Group H #1, Group I #1, Group J #1, Group K #1, Group L #1.

On Day 2, the remaining players have matches in the loser brackets. Two from each group are eliminated. The group runner-ups advance to the Second Phase.

  • Players to advance to the round robin groups: Group A #2, Group B #2, Group C #2, Group D #2, Group E #2, Group F #2, Group G #2, Group H #2, Group I #2, Group J #2, Group K #2, Group L #2.

Second Phase

The 12 runner-ups from the previous phase are divided into four groups. After a series of single round robin matches — everyone plays versus everyone — the group winners advance to the playoffs of the Street Fighter 6 EWC 2025.
