Schedule and format
CPT 2024: Japan Super Premier goes on for two days: dates and start times depend on your time zone. Note that the action takes quite a few hours, so the final matches of Day 2 start significantly later.

More than 1,200 players registered for the Street Fighter 6 Japan Super Premier. It’s quite a lot of participants, and only SF6 at Evo 2024 shows bigger numbers. Three rounds of pools and the top 16 brackets are needed to determine the winner.
- Round 1 — All the participants are divided into 128 pools. The 3 top players per pool proceed further.
- Round 2 — 64 pools, and the top 2 players advance to the next stage.
- Round 3 — 8 pools, and the top 2 players in each remain in the competition.
