Top 8

The winner of the SF6 esports event CPT 2024: Japan Super Premier was decided on Day 2. In the winners semis, Tokido defeated Momochi (Ken vs Ed) and Machabo won over Mago (Akuma vs Juri).

On the losers side, Leshar (Ed) had an intense run. His opponents were Fuudo (Ed), Mago (Juri), and gachikun (Rashid). With three victories over these mighty players, Leshar advanced to the losers final.

With a win over Machabo, Tokido advanced to the grand final and qualified for the Capcom Cup 11. It's interesting to see how Tokido plays his current main, Ken, against his legacy Street Fighter character, Akuma.

The second player qualifying for the Capcom Cup 11 is Leshar. In the Losers Final, the Korean player defeated Machabo: Ed vs Akuma.

In a great dominant style, Tokido destroyed Leshar in the grand final of CPT 2024: Japan Super Premier. Tokido won two amazing first games. Then, it looked like Leshar managed to adapt to Tokido's Ken, using mid-range tools of his Ed. But Tokido sealed the deal with a level 3 Super on the burned out opponent.

  • Daigo Umehara: The fighting games GOAT is here, so the Japan Super Premier tournament is a wonderful chance to see The Beast in action. Everyone who faces Daigo takes it as a special challenge, so his matches are epic.
  • Tokido: One of the most legendary Japanese players can’t miss this competitive opportunity. Tokido won Battle Arena Melbourne 14 this year. Will we see his Akuma this time, or will it be Ken again?
  • gachikun: The SF6 champion of DreamHack Dallas 2024 brings the speed and wind of Rashid to CPT 2024: Japan Super Premier.
  • Xiaohai: He is arguably the best The King of Fighters player in the world as the KOF XV Evo 2024 champion. Recently, Xiaohai has been enjoying great success within Street Fighter 6. The Chinese player is the winner of the SF6 Esports World Cup 2024.
  • Kawano: The SFV Evo 2022 champion experiences ups and downs with Street Fighter 6. Recently, Kawano won a Japanese World Warrior event.
