You can now gift 1,000 subs on Twitch, saving buyers $1,000.
Imagine loading up your stream, and someone gifts you 1,000 subs all at once. Well, this can now be a reality due to Twitch's new feature, which will allow people to gift their favorite streamer 1,000 subs at once on Twitch, as opposed to the cap of 200 that used to be in place.
Viewers can now gift 1,000 subs on Twitch, saving $1,000
You may be wondering just who the heck would be gifting 1,000 subs on Twitch. Well, it happens, and it's outrageously expensive. Sure, subs get cheaper the larger the amount you gift, but in the past, viewers could only gift up to 200 subs at a time.

However, now viewers can gift up to 1,000 at a time, instead of gifting 200 subs five different times. This saves the viewer $1,000, which is quite a bit of money to save (although, why in the world are you gifting 1,000 subs in the first place).
The price for gifting 1,000 subs on Twitch is currently $4,990.
What are subs on Twitch?
Subs (short subscriptions) are monthly subscriptions that viewers can purchase, which will give them ad-free viewing of the dedicated streamer's stream for a month, while also giving them access to unique emotes that are only available through the streamer's page.
However, not everyone has to purchase a sub to get one, as people can gift subs, hence why Twitch has made it possible to gift 1,000 subs. Gifting a sub means you give a viewer a free sub for an entire month, which is incredibly generous.

Also, half the revenue from subs goes back to the streamer, so it is a great way for them to make some cash. There are three tiers to subs, each one a bit more expensive and featuring extra emotes that the lower tiers cannot access.
There is also a program that allows some Partnered streamers to access a 70/30 split of the revenue made from subs, but there is specific criteria one must meet before accessing this feature.
However, anyone who is an affiliate has access to subs on Twitch, making it a great way to monetize your content.
