xQc launches Lengyel Inaugural Collection and Lengyel brand

Evolved COO Sébastien Delvaux provided insights to esports.gg about the launch and his agency’s work with xQc.

Twitch streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel just launched the Lengyel Inaugural Collection. This rollout arrived alongside the introduction to his Lengyel brand. Evolved, which is the talent agency that landed xQc’s $100 million deal with Kick back in June, was also involved in these launches.

The Lengyel Inaugural Collection includes five designs for t-shirts and one hoodie design. While the t-shirts are $38 each, the hoodie is $78. Although the collection is here for a limited time, it's only the first of more to arrive under the Lengyel brand.

In terms of his favorite design from the collection, xQc revealed to esports.gg that he loves the crane one because it feels like yin and yang imagery and evokes a sense of natural balance. He added that he's been striving towards that lately.

According to the Evolved and Lengyel launch deck, the collection embodies xQc's vision and creativity. The deck emphasized the fabric quality and overall craftsmanship that went into the clothing as well. As for each design, the deck noted that they reflect the streamer's emotions and inspirations.

Evolved, xQc, and the Lengyel brand

In an interview with esports.gg, Evolved COO Sébastien Delvaux noted that his talent agency has a strong understanding of the streamer's brand. However, Evolved also trusts xQc's ability to understand his own audience.

Delvaux revealed that merchandising company Warren James was involved with these launches as well. He then emphasized the effort that went into selecting the right fabrics and cuts. He described xQc's merch as approachable, high quality, and wildly creative.

"Evolved was excited to help bring this vision to life, and we partnered with Warren James to manifest this evolution of Félix’s brand," Delvaux said, adding how Evolved and xQC had brainstorming sessions to develop different themes.

Delvaux also provided insights about how his talent agency balances the business side of things with the individual needs of content creators like xQc.

"At Evolved, we believe taking care of our talent’s needs and encouraging their creative aspirations is what’s good for business," Delvaux said. "Content creators are immensely creative and know their communities best. xQc’s new Lengyel brand is a perfect example of that. Creators are constantly interacting with fans and working all day. This brings a lot of pressure to always be 'on.' Not to mention — if they are not personally and professionally protected and taken care of, then they’re not able to be their most creative selves."

According to Delvaux, Evolved spends a considerable amount of time developing ideas that align with content creators' brands and interests so that they feel like there’s a team ready to back them up when they pull the trigger.

"We’re very proud of the work we’re doing to go beyond individual talent sponsorships, as creators aspire to launch standalone brands that build upon the communities they’ve been growing for years," he added. "You’ll be seeing many more of these in the coming years, including from Evolved’s own roster of talent."

Content creation and the future of digital entertainment

When asked about how Evolved is positioning itself as a company to navigate evolving trends in esports, gaming, and content creation, Delvaux shared his thoughts on xQc's $100 million deal with Kick. He described it as a watershed moment for content creators since it demonstrated how these creators are no longer a sideshow beneath television and film. Rather, content creators are the future of digital entertainment.

"As creators continue to reach these higher echelons of celebrity, influence, and achievement, Evolved is focused on building trust and truly advocating for their best interests," Delvaux continued. "Talent advocacy and building trust in digital entertainment matter to ensure we’re creating a positive ecosystem for everyone. Evolved and our close friends at Morrison Cooper LLP really pioneered talent and legal representation in this space, and we’ll continue to be the leaders by trusting our talent and fully supporting their creative ventures like xQc’s new Lengyel brand."
