This controversy wasn’t on anyone’s bingo card for 2024.
Popular YouTube streamer Valkyrae called out Jason Momoa for allegedly mistreating the crew working on the Minecraft live-action film.
In a stream with Jasontheween, Valkyrae said that her worst interaction with a celebrity or streaming star was with Jason Momoa during the filming of Minecraft, in which she has a cameo.
"I just saw him like, mistreat some of the crew, and it was pretty disappointing. It was after a very intense and emotional scene and maybe he was still in character, I don’t know. I was just surprised about how he treated some of the crew.
"He was just really mad at them that they weren’t doing something right in setting up the shot and stuff. He was just angry, really mad, and yelling. I was like, this is not a good working environment, I would not be happy working under these conditions."

Though Jason Momoa didn't comment on the allegations, a DC spokesperson categorically denied it.
Given that Valkyrae's allegations are serious and could scratch his image, we're all expecting Jason Momoa to give his version of what happened in the filming of the Minecraft movie.
