“Wholesome” streamer Sykkuno faces backlash following cheating allegations and a viral fake apology, as he remains silent amid controversy.

Thomas, known online as Sykkuno, faces backlash after accusations of dating multiple women at the same time while being in a relationship with another. Amidst the cheating drama, Sykkuno went radio silent, but a fake screenshot of him apologizing went viral, fueling even more confusion and backlash.

Sykkuno called out as a cheater, manipulator, and a “dangerous predator”

The drama started back on April 10, 2016, when the content creator HemomalVT posted a Google document compiling allegations on Sykkuno’s alleged cheating scandal. According to her, the popular streamer has been dating multiple other small female content creators. This is on top of still being in a secret long-term relationship.

“I thought it was amazing that such a big content creator even knew I existed, let alone followed me on social media. He had been my role model and someone I looked up to for a long time, ever since my days in high school. However, what I learned about Sykkuno after that day would make me regret my decision. Sykkuno is not the kind, soft-spoken character you see on stream. He is a serial cheater, liar, and manipulator who uses his status to get what he wants from as many women as possible, more specifically, ones who are smaller or up and coming content creators, knowing that he can take advantage of them. “

HemomalVT shared how she reached out to another content creator, Elfilea, who was also in a similar situation with Sykkuno. These stories follow a similar pattern: Sykkuno manipulates them through love bombing and funding their hobbies.

“Sykkuno is known to send hundreds of dollars to the girls he wants to get involved with. This screenshot is from when he took my friend Elfilea to Paris during the 2025 TFT tournament, along with sending her 500 euros to help her move into her new apartment… He was doing this while giving me the impression that he wanted something long-term, and all while also having a girlfriend since 2021.”

Wholesome no more

Sykkuno built his career around a distinctly “wholesome” persona. He marketed himself as soft-spoken and often playfully awkward, especially towards women. Early on, his growth was closely tied to collaborations with streamers like LilyPichu, whose streams and content helped introduce him to a wider audience.

Following the Google document posted by HemomalVT, several fans and content creators expressed their disappointment with Sykkuno. Valkyrae shared on a stream that she had a conversation with her longtime friend Sykkuno. She expressed disappointment, calling him a cheater, while also revealing that she herself did not know he was in a long-term relationship.

“He’s a cheater… we talked, and he’s gonna figure things out… I hope for the best, and I’m so sorry to all of those involved… No, I did not know he had a girlfriend… which led to my tweet… because I thought my tweet was going to make it clear that I didn’t know… but apparently me tweeting that caused a lot of distress.”

Valkerae made a tweet with the caption “Disappointing :(” which the community speculated was targeted towards Sykkuno. However, she later stated that posting it was a bad idea, as it caused a lot of stir from the community.

Lilypichu, the streamer who kick-started Sykkuno’s career, also breaks her silence.

“I feel like I don’t really know who people truly are and it’s a lot to unpack. I try to believe in people but I’ve ended up disappointed so many times, i’m becoming more closed off.”

Disguised Toast also chimed in with a now-deleted tweet, calling out Sykkuno’s “friends” for throwing him under the bus.

“Sorry not sorry,” the alleged Sykkuno fake apology goes viral

As Sykkuno’s internet career crumbles, a viral post featuring a supposed screenshot of his Instagram story began circulating.

“I didn’t do anything wrong I was unhappy so I did what anyone in my position would do. sorry not sorry.”

This post was immediately community-noted, revealing that it was a fake edited post. However, this did not stop the fake post from going viral, with many believing it was real.

Sykkuno has been quiet since the cheating drama became public. He has deactivated his social media handles and even deleted his X (former Twitter) Community. At the time of writing, the streamer has yet to make any official statements.
