QueenShadows Invitational: Results, viewership and more

Could kill races be making a comeback? See who took home money from the QueenShadows Invitational.

The QueenShadows Invitational that took place last Thursday saw some of the best female Warzone content creators battling it out in Cadera to see who could take home the lionshare of the $5,000 prize pool.

Queenshadows, who the event was named after, is a popular Warzone player and content creator for Call of Duty League franchise, Florida Mutineers.

The event is the second event since the return of the kill race format, the first being SuperEvan’s Judgement Day. This was a single elimination bracket with teams going up against each other with no second chances on the line so they had room for error.

Notable players and viewership figures for the event

It featured the likes of iSmixie, JessieJadeCooks, IMAngelikaa and many others competing with each player streaming their own perspective.

It was streamed from the Florida Mutineers’ Twitch channel and was able to peak at over 100 viewers at one point while competing players’ individual streams earned anywhere from hundreds to thousands of views.

Prizing and event recap

Just hours before the event, the prize pool for the event was bumped from $2,000 to $5,000 with first and second place taking home $3,500 and $1,500 respectively. Some teams were able to get as many as 30 kills in a single map which made for some really competitive and entertaining matches.

After five hours of entertaining best of three matches, the event culminated with IMAngelikaa and Meggxn taking home first place and the $3,500 prize money that came with that. AdoreMari and gtiAngel fell just short, settling for second place after they themselves had an amazing event and took home the $1,500.
