OTK announces Emiru as new co-owner

OTK has announced Emiru as their new co-owner, joining OTK founders Asmongold, Esfand, Mizkif, Tips Out, and Nmplol as well as Sodapoppin.

Famous streamer Emily Beth Schunk, better known as Emiru, reveals her new role as a new co-owner of OTK. The American streamer previously joined the gaming organization OTK in 2022 as a content creator. Emiru's announcement came from the recent OTK Shareholders Meeting where they announced future plans and events for 2023.

In the announcement video, she was a princess-turned-warrior who battles Asmongold for the crown. She says at the end of the video, "I'm an owner! I have equity, I go to meetings and stuff!" Emiru joins the lineup of OTK founders Asmongold, Esfand, Mizkif, Tips Out, and Nmplol as well as Sodapoppin.

Emiru is primarily known for streaming League of Legends and cosplay on her Twitch channel, where she has garnered more than one million followers. She started streaming in 2016 and has grown in popularity ever since. Emiru was previously a member of the well-known esports organization Cloud9 before joining OTK in 2022.

Emiru announces new game show Cosplay Clash under OTK

In addition to the co-owner announcement of OTK, Emiru revealed her first Twitch game show called the Cosplay Clash. The competitive game show will bring twenty-four talented cosplayers from all around the world to Los Angeles and Austin, Texas. They will compete by creating cosplays and dressing up a bunch of streamers.

In the announcement, Emiru explains the mission of the show saying, "The goal of the show is to elevate talented artists in the community and to give Twitch chat a chance to see their favorite streamers dressed up by real professionals." Emiru is going to be hosting The Cosplay Clash herself and it is coming in June 2023. The details of the game show are not known as of now.
