Popular content creator Nadeshot managed to score a hole in one in a golf challenge.
Popular Twitch streamer and 100 Thieves founder Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag took up the Hole in One Challenge and streamed it live. He announced this on Twitter to test his golfing skills and luck on Oct. 25.
Many golf enthusiasts imposed certain restrictions on themselves when they took up the challenge. These included the likes of limited golf balls, scoring in a limited time, and more. Some Twitch streamers also imposed consequences on themselves such as quitting golf or spending a night in jail if they fail to score one. Incredibly, Nadeshot managed to score a hole in one in just an hour.
Nadeshot's Hole in One Challenge
After the challenge was announced on Twitter, he described the context for it. Nadeshot spoke about how expensive a golf course would be for 24 hours. Therefore, unlike most similar challenges, he tried to score one in 12 hours. He also claimed that his wife told him she wouldn't take him home unless he scored a hole in one and that he was "too weak and too soft to go to prison," with a "seven handicap" in golf. According to him, he scored a hole in one twice in the last three to four months. As per golfing statistics, a hole in one has a 12,500 to 1 chance of occurring. So realistically, Nadeshot would have needed to attempt a lot of shots in order to achieve one.

In spectacular fashion, Nadeshot scored the hole in one in an hour with just his 79th ball. After winning the challenge, he attempted more shots to see if he could score another. He hit a total of 158 balls with the lone hole in one. For context, professional golfer Robert Macintyre attempted the Chase the Ace in the Hole Challenge where golfers tried to score a hole in one with just 500 balls. He scored on his 103rd attempt. Given this context, Nadeshot accomplished a pretty impressive feat. He looked completely baffled when he managed to score it.
Who are the other participants?
A few other top streamers are attempting Nadeshot's challenge. These include Jack “CouRage” Dunlop, Mason "Symfuhny" Lanier, Dalton "Daltoosh" Hester, Zack " ZackTTG" Mowley, Lough, Vinnie Hacker and Josh Chx. Considering the odds, it would be quite incredible to see if any of the other participants manages to score one. Each content creator gets an hour to attempt the challenge.
