The popular streamer, Myth, has officially announced an indefinite hiatus from streaming.

The popular YouTube streamer, Myth, announced his official break from streaming following his YouTube contract coming to an end. For the last two years, the streamer was contractually obligated to stream on YouTube, and it now seems like he needs a break.

And yes, this hiatus is indefinite. There is no time frame on when the YouTuber will be back.

Myth announces official break from streaming

Myth has been around for almost a decade, being one of the biggest streamers in the world. With his start on Twitch, the streamer quickly blew up during the early Fortnite days. Since then, he has streamed various other games and has been a prime figure within the content world.

And now, it seems like the man needs a break.

"I have been doing this for almost a decade now," said Myth in a video he posted on Twitter. "And I feel that it is true to my core right now, that it is important for me to take a break."

But when will Myth be back? Well, he answered that question, and fans may not like it.

"I don't know exactly when I will be back. Which is insane. I've never done anything like this. Throughout my entire career, I've never taken a period of time off without knowing exactly when I will be back."

With so much happening in the streamer world, it can be important to give yourself time to rest. It seems like Myth is making sure to take care of his own mental health first.

Will Myth return to streaming?

Luckily, Myth did answer on whether or not he will return to streaming.

"I do want to be back. I want to make content and I want to stream in a way that feels authentic to me, to who I am and to who I've become."

Myth first started streaming as a teenager and is now 25 years old.

"There has been a lot of personal growth within that frame of time. And with that, there needs to be a new way - for me at least - of doing this."

The streamer then explained that, without a break, nothing would change. He would go live. It would be the same as always, and he would never grow as a creator.

It seems as if this hiatus will be for the best, as Myth figures out what the next best step is for him in his career.
