Former soccer stars meet famous content creators in the Baller League.

Baller League, a soccer league featuring the likes of IShowSpeed and KSI along with soccer legends such as Ronaldinho, Luís Figo, and John Terry, is coming up in 2025 with UK and US versions.

Here's what we know about the Baller League thus far.

What is the Baller League?

The Baller League launched in Germany in 2014 and quickly became a popular tournament for those seeking an alternative take on soccer.

The competition will see 12 teams playing six-versus-six indoor soccer with amateur and former soccer pros, and celebrities. The matches last two 15-minute halves with some unique rules, and it's in the last three minutes of each half that things get interesting.

Baller League uses randomized "Gamechanger" rules when the halves are finishing, which range from making the teams play three-versus-three, goals counting double, and giving a red card to anyone who makes a foul.

If this looks similar to you, it's because the Baller League draws some similarities to the Kings League, a soccer league run by former Barcelona player Gerard Piqué featuring teams managed by content creators such as Ibai and Gaules.

The goal behind the Ballers League is to make it the "UFC of Football" and "Americanize" the sport, according to CEO Felix Starck. In short, it's a project that fuses entertainment with sport to appeal for younger audiences.
