An assist on Otis, and a brutal spear from Bron Breakker were the highlights of Speed’s debut.
Popular streamer, IShowSpeed attended WWE's Royal Rumble 2025 event in the iconic LucasOil Arena. Initially announced to be streaming the event from the sidelines, Speed got the call up into the ring to replace #8 entrant Akira Tozawa. Here's how IShowSpeed's WWE debut went.
Triple H brings IShowSpeed into WWE Royal Rumble 2025
Royal Rumble is always an iconic event thanks to the rolling entries and incredible storylines converging into a single ring. From CM Punk to John Cena, everyone's vying for victory. But it's often the plot twists that entertain the most.
With 7 wrestlers having made their way into the ring, Akira Tozawa was up next. But right before his entry, the broadcast showed an injured Tozawa backstage, with Triple H checking up on him. With just seconds left till the music starts, Triple H spotted IShowSpeed standing in the backstage area and sent him into the ring.
Speed! You're in the Rumble. Go.

After entering the ring, IShowSpeed immediately got into the thick of things. Quickly, he helped eliminate Otis from the rumble, before taking a breather to play to the audience. As Speed performed his iconic backflip, Bron Breakker was gathering up speed by rebounding off the ropes twice. With his target in sight, Bron went into a spear move straight to IShowSpeed's gut, absolutely knocking the wind out of the streamer.
With Speed dazed, Bron Breakker lifted him up, and threw him out of the ring and over the announcers table. The streamer looked out of sorts initially, clearly reeling from the impact of both the spear and the subsequent throw. Meanwhile, Otis, who had just been eliminated by Speed looked over his groggy figure menacingly, before walking off.
After being helped to his feet, he was put on the back of a golf cart and taken backstage to recover. You can watch the entire segment, including Speed's reaction after the Rumble on his stream VOD.

While Speed was quick to say he isn't coming to WWE again, fans loved his performance in the ring. Both speed-fans and WWE enjoyers alike praised his showing, especially tanking that brutal spear from the Intercontinental Champion. So who knows, maybe Speed will have a change of heart and step back into the ring at a later date.
