iShowSpeed becomes Shaolin monk

In one of his latest streams, iShowSpeed took fans along on his journey to becoming a Shaolin monk in China. The stream kicked off with the content creator psyching himself up just outside of the temple. Then, he washed his hands at the entrance of it.

After this, iShowSpeed learned how to make incense offerings. He then put on a robe to continue his training. He did some running before he started learning some kung fu alongside older students and some kids. Other iShowSpeed activities included archery and watching a live stage performance.

The content creator even picked up some tricks with a pair of nunchucks and checked out some Shaolin boxing. Of course, iShowSpeed did one of his iconic backflips to top things off!

Wholesome moments from iShowSpeed's Shaolin training

There were wholesome moments throughout the stream as well. For example, while learning from master Liang, iShowSpeed encouraged a young student practicing the Pu Bu stance. And, near the end of the stream, iShowSpeed thanked his kung fu master by attempting to give him some cash.

However, master Liang expressed that their friendship isn't based on money. "[Friendship] is not money. [Friendship] is my country, your country, [the] whole world," he said. "We are friends because [of] kung fu." He then suggested that perhaps the money could go towards the children.

iShowSpeed also took photos with master Liang and the other students. In one of the photos, everyone said "青苹果," which means "green apple" in English. The content creator's journey to becoming a Shaolin monk then came to a close.
