RSGLORYANDGOLD has passed away after a four month fight with cancer. The Minecraft community is celebrating his memory.
The gaming community has come together to mourn the death of Tony "RSGLORYANDGOLD" Winchester, a Runescape streamer who passed away from cancer on October 12.
The 69-year-old gamer had touched the hearts of many throughout the years, known for his wholesome personality, supporting smaller streamers, and — of course — his Runescape gameplay. While his passing was an emotional one for friends, family, and viewers, it wasn't a complete surprise to anyone following RSGLORYANDGOLD's recent streams and YouTube uploads.
The upbeat streamer had been sharing updates on his cancer treatment for the past four months. He first revealed he had cancer on June 2, 2022.
"I've been streaming on Twitch for six-and-a-half years and it's been the joy of my life," RSGLORYANDGOLD said. "The past six-and-a-half years have been the best years of my life. I love Twitch and all the really, really wonderful people I've gotten to meet."
Since then, the gaming community has been rallying behind him. While RSGLORYANDGOLD started out in the Runescape community, he has grown to have fans from all over the gaming space after he ran into some drama with Daniel "Keemstar" Keem. Gamers came to his defense against the horrific slander and then stuck around for his wholesome personality and content.
When RSGLORYANDGOLD passed away, his family uploaded a video to his YouTube channel, where he has 219K subscribers.

According to his son, the cancer kept spreading, eventually paralyzing him when it reached his spinal chord. It then spread to his organs, shutting down his kidneys. He died on October 12 at 6 PM.
"When he died he was not in pain and he died with his family," his son said. "I'm sitting in the studio now. I'm having trouble doing this. There's a lot of people I want to thank and a lot of things I'd like to say but I just can't do it right now."
His son was too emotional to say more about his father, saying he would upload videos about him in the future.
All over social media, fans have been sharing their favorite moments from RSGLORYANDGOLD, from his Runescape streams to his funny social commentary. Many were hurt to hear about his passing and also said they wanted Keemstar held accountable for what he'd previously said about RSGLORYANDGOLD.
