The popular Fortnite star, Chica, known for her popular Twitch streams and YouTube videos, had her home invaded yesterday. This happened while the streamer was live on Twitch, as the invaders held hammers to her, demanding she give them her car keys.

The Fortnite streamer had been live on Twitch for some time during the night streaming. While she was busy performing, she heard a couple of loud bangs coming from the other room. This was then men breaking through the glass on her door with hammers.
Five men then entered her home, all covered with bandanas over their faces and armed with hammers.
"I really thought that my partner fell," said Chica in an interview with her town's local news station. This was her reaction to the bangs coming from the other room, which were the men breaking into her home.
However, it was to Chica's horror that her assumptions were wrong, instead, there were five masked men demanding her car keys. The streamer had various high-end vehicles sitting out front, which was more than likely the motivation used by these men to break in.
"'We need the keys, give us the keys.' At first, I was like 'I don't know where the keys are.' I just put my hands up. The guy did not like that. He started charging at me with the hammer."
Luckily, this quick moment of fear helped Chica remember where the keys were, as she blurted out where they could grab them.
The men quickly grabbed the keys and stormed outside to all the vehicles, but to their surprise, none of the cars would move.

Chica's vehicles were protected by secondary theft prevention
The armed men were not able to leave with any of these vehicles, as they were protected by a special secondary theft prevention system, which neither Chica nor the news will disclose at the moment.
This forced the men to book it from the crime scene in their own vehicle, leaving them with nothing but the car keys they forcefully took from Chica.
"There are several secondary ways to protect your vehicles," said Constable Luke Lindley in an interview with the town's local news. "At this time, we are not releasing the details of these secondary measures."
This is obviously a very smart move by the officer, as letting someone know just how they can actually take Chica's vehicles would be a grave misstep in authority. And, at the current moment, the perpetrators are still running free with Chica's keys.
Luckily, Chica and her partner were not afflicted by any physical harm, but the trauma that will come with this event will probably forever be intense in their minds.
