Dr Disrespect was left all by himself in his first real Deadlock match ever.

Dr Disrespect had a rough time playing Deadlock for the first time on stream on Sept. 11 as he saw all his teammates abandon the very first match, leaving him alone on the team.

The two-time announced he'd check out Deadlock and after completing the tutorial and trying a couple of different heroes in bot matches, he jumped into a real six-versus-six match. However, as soon as the match started, one of Dr Disrespect's teammates died and immediately left the game. This led to everyone else but Dr Disrespect leaving the match as well.

"Okay, I guess I'm the only one in this one," Dr Disrespect said after noticing what happened. Dr Disrespect then proceeded to quit the match as well and jump into another game.

It's unclear whether everybody simply rage quit the Deadlock match after the first player left or they did so due to Dr Disrespect inappropriately texting a minor while he was still a Twitch partner years ago. A lot of people said on X, however, that they'd leave the game too if they were paired with Dr Disrespect.

How did the rest of Dr Disrespect's Deadlock matches go?

After this troubling first experience, Dr Disrespect continued playing Deadlock for a few more hours and nothing newsworthy happened. Dr Disrespect, though, did say that he enjoyed his first session.

"I actually like the game a lot, even though it's not my particular style," he said before switching to Escape from Tarkov.

Given that Dr Disrespect enjoyed Deadlock, he may play more in the coming weeks. Despite all the controversy surrounding him at the moment and losing sponsorships, his YouTube live streams are still amassing decent viewership. The Deadlock one, for example, got over 15,000 concurrent viewers and had nearly 800,000 views at the time of this writing.
