Co-founded by content creator Ludwig, Offbrand is expanding its operation, hiring streamer Jerma985, and moving into the old Beyond the Summit offices.

A new venture rises out of the ashes of an esports icon as Offbrand launches Offbrand Productions, and announces some major acquisitions. The first is the news that Offbrand will now be operating out of the former Beyond The Summit studios, which shuttered earlier this year. And the second is that the company is taking on Jerma985 as its chief creative officer.

Offbrand is a new production company co-founded by streamer Ludwig Ahgren and several others to produce events and streams with prominent creators. Offbrand, the company behind Ludwig's Chessboxing event, announced the launch of their production venture, and the signing of Jerma on June 12.

Alongside this came the revelation that Offbrand would be moving its operation to the former BTS studios. Former BTS staffers David Gorman and Daniel Najarian will also join the team. The company also announced that many former BTS employees were joining the company. Kelby May, formerly of gaming management firm Loaded (but always formerly of CLG to us) also joins as chief revenue officer.

Jerma becomes “Corporate Andy”?

Jerma985 is an infamous and popular streamer, partially known for his sometimes outlandish streaming events. From the Jerma Rumble Live Action, to the Circus stream, Jerma Dollhouse (a kind of Sims in real life event, featuring Ludwig), and the Jerma Baseball Association, and dozens more, Jerma is no stranger to making unique and incredibly high-production value content for streams.

He previously partnered with the now-shuttered BTS for his 2022 Christmas stream. Jerma is also a frequent collaborator with friend Ludwig, and both have featured regularly during each other’s major streaming events.

However, as Jerma’s fans might say, by taking the Offbrand CCO role, he’s become “Corporate Andy” ("Andy" is a pejorative often term used in Jerma's community, prefixed with a noun or adjective). But we’re sure the title and power won’t go to his head… Or will it? We all know he let the Sus Guy fame get to his head, and maybe it could happen again!
