After his passage through China, IShowSpeed visited Mongolia, a country in East Asia with a population of 3.5 million people. Located between Russia and China, this country has a very rich culture influenced by Buddhism, shamanism, animism, and nomadic traditions. The streamer couldn't miss the opportunity to meet Mongolia's culture and traditions. Let's see the best moments of his trip.
Mongolian traditional clothing
Speed first appeared with customized Mongolian traditional clothing. On a snowy day in Mongolia, Speed was warmly welcomed in the country by fans and even signed some fans' Portuguese shirts. Some fans had the opportunity to hug him and even recreate Cristiano Ronaldo's famous celebration.
IShowSpeed met his first opponent in Mongolia
In an incredible, odd encounter, Speed met his first opponent right out of the Genghis Khan statue. This man wore historical armor from the Mongol Empire era and acted out a fight with Speed, which was a great moment of the trip. He also had the opportunity to take a history class with another man who taught him about Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire and an iconic figure in the country. Speed even participated in a Mongolian tradition.
Speed visited a national museum where he found out about various inventions, including saddles and stirrups for horses. He even saw some pieces of clothing from 2,000 years ago that resembled Adidas' three-striped trainers. These were found in a mummy.
The art of music in Mongolia
During his trip, Speed had many moments where he encountered dancers who showed him special traditional movements and songs. He even tries a traditional dance and has lots of fun with the dancers. Speed praised a singer's incredible vocals during a Mongolian performance. He was so amazed by it that he asked if the singer could do it again, even calling her "Beyoncé".
Speed also met Batzorig Vaanchig, a Mongol singer specializing in throat-singing, which fascinated him. One of his songs has more than 28 million views on YouTube. In another encounter with a Mongolian violinist, Speed asked him to play Blinks Sake from ONE PIECE. It was definitely a very emotional performance for the anime fans.

Mongolian Wrestlers
The top moment of this trip was for sure the meeting between Speed and Mongolian Wrestlers. He warmed up with a wrestler to go for a 1v1 with the biggest wrestler in Mongolia — of course, Speed lost. He tried his best, but the man quickly humbled him in a very funny fight. After that, another professional wrestler fought with him, and Speed performed an insane finishing move.
IShowSpeed horse riding in Mongolia
On his trip back, Speed learned that there are more wild horses than people in Mongolia, which left him speechless. In fact, the equine population in Mongolia is more than double the human population, with five million horses. He revealed that he was very excited to ride horses in Mongolia.
After a bark battle with Mongolian dogs, Speed tried horse riding, which he was excited to do. Now, as he said, "we're really in Mongolia!". Horses are revered in Mongolian spirituality and folklore. They symbolize strength, endurance, and agility. He even tried out horseback archery in the mountains, something that was done centuries ago. The Mongolian traditional mounted archery was once used to hunt, keep herds safe, and protect the tribes from outside dangers. Later, it was implemented in the army. Speed also watched professionals doing horseback archery in Mongolia.
Traditional tasting
IShowSpeed tasted traditional drinks and even sheep's head. It is part of a dish called khash made from boiled cow or sheep parts, which can include the head, feet, and stomach. Speed's reaction was not the best for the sheep's head, but he loved the Mongolian pie. For him, "it's the best one he's ever had".
After meeting many fans, receiving amazing fan art, IShowSpeed called Mongolia "underrated" and revealed he loves the traditions, the food, and the country itself. "Everything was great." He talked about an inspiring trip and thanked his fans for the support. "I love y'all," he ended.
