Among many collaborations in the soccar game, this one hits the spot. Even for inconsistent players, it’s a decent reason to return to the field.

Rocket League started a collaboration event with The Simpsons on Nov. 1. Challenges with free rewards and the shop offers are available until Nov. 17.

It’s always great to have challenges for unlocking unique cosmetics. These tasks motivate players to drive on the Rocket League arenas and strive to improve their skills.

Challenges in The Simpsons limited-time event (LTE) do not require crazy achievements to unlock rewards. They are more about your consistent efforts in the game: like driving 8,128 meters or earning 2,401 XP.

How to claim The Simpsons car in Rocket League

The collaboration event is not a charity initiative at all. The Simpsons bundle in the Rocket League shop is relatively expensive. Rocket League keeps the price on the level of other collaborations — still lower than for real-world supercars, such as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

  • Homer’s car costs 2,200 Credits. It comes with three decals, wheels, and a custom audio.
  • The Simpsons wheels are a separate offer requiring 700 Credits.

What is the hitbox for Homer Simpson’s car in Rocket League?

The car from The Simpsons series has the Dominus hitbox in Rocket League.

It’s a pretty good choice by developers, even if Octane or Fennec would find more fans among the players. Dominus cars are more flat, so it’s slightly more difficult to hit the ball compared to the higher hitbox of Octane. Still, Dominus is longer, so it can do well at air juggling.

The Simpsons decals are worth it!

While the car itself is fun and cartoonish, it looks rather blank without thematic decals. Homer would certainly be happy to have one of these animated beauties!

Fortnite also has The Simpsons event. The car, wheels, and decals are available in both games after the purchase.

The Simpsons event overlaps with much longer activities of Season 20 in Rocket League. You have time until Dec. 3 to unlock all the tiers.
