In the esports department, Rocket League starts an unusual Bracket Rivalry series. Duos of popular content creators battle here for a chance to have a match at the Paris Major on May 24.

Quality-of-life improvements
While the cosmetic rewards and the competitive series are well received in the community, players remain largely dissatisfied. The reason is the lack of meaningful quality-of-life improvements.
In the trailer, you can notice the following gameplay-related announcements.
- Flip Reset indicator: to see if you have successfully touched the ball with all four wheels and gained a dodge.
- Boost respawn timer appears on empty boost pads.
- MMR display: Your Matchmaking Rating is visible.
- Possibility to switch to the standard boost sounds.

Season 22 starts in Rocket League on March 11 and continues until June 10. If you are a Fortnite Crew subscriber, you can get cross-game items on March 19.
