The game returns to its usual track of having very few special activities during Rocket Pass seasons. It’s not that bad, though, as Psyonix added awesome cosmetics to the tiers, revived drops from Challenges, and made three really great car bodies unlockable.

Rocket League is extremely popular in France. The recent World Championship proved that once again — it was a mind-blowing support for local heroes, Karmine Corp and Team Vitality. With Season 21, the French atmosphere spreads beyond Rocket League esports. It's the main theme in the game for these three months.

Rocket League Season 21 starts on Dec. 10 and continues until March 11. In this article, we highlight everything important and exciting you can get from the French Rocket Pass.

Car bodies to unlock in Rocket League Season 21

Similar to Season 20, Rocket League adds car bodies for you to unlock with the Premium Pass.

  • Corlay is a small car that certainly can fit into the streets of Paris, even if it comes with the spirit of the 1960s. You unlock it right after purchasing the Premium Rocket Pass for Season 21. The hitbox for Corlay is Octane.

  • Magnifique and Magnifique GXT come after unlocking later tiers. The hitbox for both is Dominus.

It's really great to have another variation for the Octane hitbox, as most Rocket League players use it. The Dominus type of the car body is also an effective choice. We had it for Homer Simpson's car in a fun collaboration event.

Parc de Paris, a new arena

The set of arenas in Rocket League receives another playing field in Season 21. It's Parc de Paris, which obviously is inspired by the capital of France.

The place looks beautiful in the promo images. Still, we need to feel these visuals in the heat of Rocket League matches.

French vibes in Rocket League cosmetics

To fill Season 21 tiers with various cosmetic items, Rocket League summoned the creative power of French artists.

  • Mr Brainwash and Chanoir worked on the arena and decals.
  • The helmets of the electronic music duo Daft Punk are available as toppers. These guys and Julian Casablancas created the player anthem "Instant Crush".
  • Rocket Royalty Octane Decal was made in the style of French Baroque.

Heatseeker in the ranked playlist

As for seasonal game modes, Rocket League promotes Heatseeker matches to ranked.

  • Hit the ball, so it automatically flies to the opposite net. It backfires if you shoot the wall, and the ball ends up in your net instead.

For completing Ranked Heatseeker Challenges, you get the Fire Eye topper.

This gameplay part is clearly underwhelming compared to the anniversary activities of Season 19. It's mainly about cosmetics again.

Seasonal and Weekly Challenges have drops again. You can get three drops from one set of Seasonal Challenges and one unlimited Challenge per week, with a drop as a reward. You earn them via Rocket Pass as well, after reaching tier 70.

Head to the Rocket League Shop to claim your free title "Shot Like The Dop Player." It's a reference to the French content creator Kaydop.

The start of Season 21 happens almost at the same time as RLCS 2026. In fact, this Rocket Pass was revealed during the Rocket League esports Kick-Off Weekend. The rest of the Split 1 qualifiers and the Boston Major 2026 also happen this winter.
