Rocket League is celebrating its eighth anniversary with the exciting Birthday Ball event. It features items, challenges, and limited-time modes!
The world of Rocket League has grown so much since it was first released in 2015. Since then, players have entered the field of Rocket League with items, arenas, and mechanics, and more. In celebration of the game's anniversary, Psyonix has announced the Birthday Ball event for Rocket League players. There are new challenges, rewards, items, and two limited-time modes (LTMs) to check out.
Rocket League Birthday Ball event challenges and rewards
Players have to complete the challenges during the Birthday Ball event to get the rewards. They also can earn up to five Golden Eggs, which can unlock items from Champions Series 1 to 4.
Here are all of the challenges and rewards:
- Challenge: Get 5 First Touches in Online Matches
- Reward: 50 Credits
- Challenge: Get 20 Shots on Goal in Online Matches
- Reward: 50 Credits
- Challenge: Hit the ball 50 times.
- Reward: 50 Credits
- Challenge: Get 10 Saves or Epic Saves in Online Matches
- Reward: 50 Credits
- Challenge: Hold the other team to 0 Goals in an Online Match
- Reward: Waned Flame Trail
- Challenge: Play 20 Online Matches (Can be repeated five times)
- Reward: Golden Egg '23
- Challenge: Play 7 Online Matches
- Reward: 8th Birthday Avatar Border
- Challenge: Earn 35,0000 XP
- Reward: 8th Birthday Crown Player Banner
- Challenge: Win 8 Online Matches
- Reward: Hemi Birthday Player Anthem
- Challenge: Get 30 Centers or Clears
- Reward: Waned Flame Rocket Boost
- Challenge: Get a Goal and a Win in 5 Online Matches
- Reward: 100 Credits
- Challenge: Win 10 Online Matches (Repeatable five times)
- Reward: XP Level Up

Extra Birthday Ball fun with two Rocket League LTMs
Super Cube

Description: This mode is a 3v3 Rocket League mode where the ball has been replaced by a cubic shape, and its maximum speed and bounciness have increased.
Beach Ball
Date: July 5 - July 12
Description: This mode is a 2v2 Rocket League with lighter balls. Every time you hit the ball, the ball will curve through the air and make it more difficult to score or direct the ball.
