Overview of RLCS Winter Major
Where and when is the RLCS Winter Major?
The second RLCS Major will occur in San Diego, United States at the San Diego Convention Center. It will be the main event of the DreamHack San Diego festival. The event will be live for four days starting April 6 until April 9.
Prize Pool and RLCS Point distribution
The total prize pool for the Winter Major is $310,000 USD. Here are the prize pool and RLCS Points distribution according to the placements:

What is the format for the Winter Major?
The Winter Major will be divided into two stages:
- Group Stage: Round-robin format with teams divided into four groups of four with best-of-five (Bo5) matches. Teams that finish last in their group will be eliminated.
- Playoffs: Twelve teams move forward into the playoffs. The winner of each group from the Group Stage receives a bye into the Quarterfinals. It will be a single elimination bracket with Bo5 Round 1 and best-of-seven (Bo7) for the rest of the matches.
