The RLCS 2022-23 has come to an end and it was the most popular Rocket League esports event ever. The semifinals between Karmine Corp and Team Vitality ended up with the highest peak concurrent viewers of all time in the history of the game. Here are all the matches in the RLCS 2022-23 by viewership and excitement. 

The most-watched event in Rocket League history

The Rocket League World Championship 2022-23 kicked off on August 3 and continued for eleven days ending on the thirteenth. The world’s best Rocket League teams came together for this grand extravaganza at the PSD Bank Dome in Germany.

It ultimately came down to eight teams in the playoffs - a single-elimination format that left no room for error. As the hype built up towards the end of the event, the teams upped their skill and aggression.

The semifinals match between Karmine Corp and Team Vitality was dubbed The Battle of France by fans. Rocket League esports has long been dominated by French teams and the winner of this French derby would potentially also stand a chance to win the event.

The Karmine Corp vs Team Vitality match was also an extremely exciting one with players pulling off some amazing individual plays. The level of excitement and anticipation was off the charts as thousands of fans watched their favorite teams go to head. Fans back home also tuned in in great numbers to watch this spectacle. 

The semifinal match had a peak viewership of 468,292. In contrast, the Grand Finals was slightly lower at 425,195. Here are the top five most-watched matches from the RLCS 2022-23 event
