The North American Rocket League tournament completes the second qualification series of Split 1. Can the region’s leader, NRG, join the club of early Major 1 participants?

After many initial matches of Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2025 NA Open 2, the top 16 teams advanced to the final stages. They must now battle for the standing points and top leaderboard placements to eventually be among four who qualify for the Rocket League esports Birmingham Major.

In some regions, the first Major participants are already locked in, though their final seeding is still up for grabs. Karmine Corp in Europe, FURIA Esports in South America, and Luminosity Gaming in Asia-Pacific have each secured their spots. Can NRG follow suit in North America?

Considering that the current NRG roster is formed by players from G2 Stride, the World Championship 2024 runners-up, such a boost is quite attainable for them. Everything about RLCS 2025 NA Open 2 is here: the stream, details, and final results.

The results of RLCS 2025 Open 2 in North America

Not everything went smoothly for NRG during the RLCS 2025 NA Open 1. Atomic, BeastMode, and Daniel lost two matches during the Swiss Stage, and they fell to the lower brackets after their loss to Spacestation Gaming in Groups. NRG recovered nicely after that — and they defeated Spacestation in the grand final back then.

The Swiss Stage of RLCS 2025 Open 2 was much less stressful for NRG. The team advanced to the Groups with three confident victories, while Spacestation did not qualify for the final stages at all. It is fascinating to follow their further progress in the Birmingham Major qualifiers.

Gen.G Mobil1 Racing, Complexity Gaming, The Ultimates, and literally any other team in the top 16 are ready to battle for every league point!
