Get ready to stay on the pitch just a bit longer as the end date for the Rematch beta has been extended due to incredible player interest.

The arcade soccer title Rematch is headed for its beta, with the date soon arriving. If you haven't signed up yet, make sure you do before it is too late. And if you get in, you'll be happy to know that the entire beta period was extended by almost double.

The team working on the game were overwhelmingly overjoyed at the fact that so many players wanted to sign up and test the game. They went ahead and pushed the end date out in order for everyone to enjoy it as much as possible.

When was the Rematch beta supposed to take place?

If you originally signed up right when they announced the beta period, it was just supposed last for a couple of days. It was scheduled to start on Friday, April 18, 2025 and end just the follow evening on April 19.

That was what everyone expected while signing up through the newsletter. Now, you can register your interest through Steam directly, and if chosen to participate, you'll get to enjoy it for a much longer period of time.

New and extended Rematch beta date period

The developers announced that nearly a million players signed up for the Rematch beta, causing them to push back the end date. Instead of a 36-hour testing phase, players can now enjoy the Rematch beta for a total of 65 hours.

The Rematch beta's start date remains on April 18 at 3 p.m. UTC. Now, it ends on April 21 at 8 a.m. UTC. As we said, that's nearly double the amount of time it was originally planned for. So, get your code if you have one, and just know the app won't show up in Steam until just two hours before start time.
