Ubisoft to reveal Operation Twin Shells
Rainbow Six Siege developer, Ubisoft has revealed they will release more details about Operation Twin Shells on August 25, 2024. The new operation is expected to completely change the R6 meta with potentially new operators, maps, and more.
The last operation in Rainbow Six Siege was Operation New Blood. The operation released on June 11 and brought several new changes to the game. Twin Shells is also expected to bring new weapons, possibly a new map and operator as well. Rainbow Six Siege patches coincide with the Operation reveals and fans can find new ways to play their favorite game.
Rainbow Six Siege will also bring a new weapon to the game with Y9S3. The new weapon, which looks like a rifle will allow players to deal immense damage in a short period.
The new operator will bring a unique kit to the game. In a teaser tweet, the Rainbow Six Siege account urged players not to leave themselves exposed. It seems like the new operator can mark enemies giving away crucial positional information in combat.
Rainbow Six Siege Montreal Major will take place later this year in November. Spread out over three days at the Verdun Auditorium, the Montreal Major will be an opportunity for North American fans to watch their favorite players live in action.
A few days ago, Ubisoft announced a mid-season patch that gave fans a glimpse into what to expect with Y9S3. The mid-season Roadmap update showcased some changes coming in September and later in December this year. While the September announcement will feature a new Operator, the December update will feature a remaster of an existing Operator.
Operation Twin Shells will first be revealed on August 25 and we expect Ubisoft to unveil the new operator. The new operator is from Greece and will release with Y9S3.
