FirstBlood’s $5.000 Invitational Series for Rainbow Six Siege continues this weekend. A free entry qualifier for PC players that gifts an opportunity to compete against high profile streamers KingGeorge and YoBoyRoy.

Spacestation Gaming have teamed up with Slayout Tournaments and FirstBlood to announce the Slaystation Invitational Series for Rainbow Six: Siege.

This will be the second installment of the Slaystation series, following on from the success of last June's tournament. It serves as a continued attempt by FirstBlood, Spacestation Gaming and Slayout, to strengthen relations within the amateur Siege community.

How to enter the Slaystation Invitational Series

The qualifiers for the Slaystation Invitational Series are free to enter on PC and take place from July 17th to 18th. The Top 4 teams from the qualifiers will then move on to the main tournament bracket. There they will be competing for the chance to win the $5,000 cash prize. The tournament, and it's qualifiers are on PC only.

Many high profile content creators and pro players within the Siege community, including KingGeorge and YoBoyRoy, will be participating in the tournament.

The pair previously took part in the June installment of the Slaystation series; with KingGeorge's team coming out the victors in that event.

This means that players who make it through the qualifiers will have a chance to test their skills against some of the best talent within the Siege community, which is quite a big opportunity for those looking to make a name for themselves.

Their goal is to establish a platform in which amateur gamers can interact with professional level players. The SlayStation Invitational marks FirstBlood's expansion into the world of competitive Siege.

"We are extremely excited to continue to build our partnership with Spacestation Gaming. There are a lot of talented players out there with limited resources and no clear path to success in gaming" said Emily Peel, Director of Business Development at FirstBlood.

"We at FirstBlood want to provide those with the passion and commitment for a competitive career the opportunities to achieve it. The Slaystation Invitational Series is another big step towards establishing our progressive ecosystem."
