As the tournament start, this phase is a lot about warming up and testing the grounds. Still, four teams should be eliminated, and the initial playoff spots are better for the group winners.
Six Invitational 2026 begins with four groups: five teams in each, and they battle for the three top placements. It's a conclusion of the previous competitive year in Rainbow Six Siege X. 2025 was somewhat shaky in terms of content and technical issues, but R6 esports have been exciting as always.
For the top teams, the Group Stage is rather a nice warm-up before the final brackets and matches in the arena. The underdogs have a chance to deliver spectacular upsets. For the viewers, the five days of this tournament phase mean hours upon hours of the top-level R6 Siege competition.
