G2 started the R6 Esports World Cup 2025 as one of the tournament favorites, but they fell victim to unstoppable Team Secret. New Champions arose, and the flawless run brought Secret the EWC trophy!
As Defenders, G2 won a few starting rounds on Kafe, but then Secret took the initiative into their hands. With two three-round streaks, they earned the first point in the match score.

FURIA can’t add another trophy to their Champions title from RE:L0:AD Rio de Janeiro 2025. Still, finishing the Esports World Cup in third place would also be an achievement.

Spacestation Gaming had a promising start as Defenders on Clubhouse. They won four rounds before the sides swap. Then, it was the turn of FURIA to enjoy the advantages of defending on this R6 map. The Brazilian team won game 1 with an impressive five-round streak.
On Chalet, the streak for FURIA continued on the Attackers side. When it looked like Spacestation are done, they responded with some really great rounds — and even triggered overtime.
FURIA did not let the opponents achieve more. They won two decisive rounds and placed themselves as the 3rd team at the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2025.
