Eight more teams said goodbye to Six Invitational.

The Six Invitational playoffs are in full swing with more teams leaving the competition today. In the big game of the day, G2 eliminated Team Liquid from the competition.

Today Ninjas in Pajamas also said goodbye to the Six Invitational playoffs. Brazil, winner of the last two Majors with w7m, lost three representatives in the tournament today.

After the unexpected defeat to Wolves in the first round of the upper bracket, w7m began their journey in the lower bracket with a clash against FearX. With a 2-0 victory, the Brazilians eliminated the Koreans from the competition.

Then there was an early and unexpected elimination for the LOS. After a good performance in the last Major as a finalist, the community was eager to see what this team would do in the Six Invitational. However, expectations were not met.

Their opening a 2-1 defeat against FaZe Clan, followed up by today's 2-0 defeat to Bleed eliminated the "orange wave" from the competition. The disappointment was evident on the faces of the LOS team who were unable to hide their dissatisfaction.

Team Liquid had no trouble eliminating Team Falcons from the Six Invitational playoffs. Bliss later sent FURY home in the closest series of the first round of the Lower Bracket.

The second round of the Lower Bracket brought several interesting matches for Rainbow Six Siege fans.

Firstly a domestic duel. Ninjas in Pajamas and w7m were fighting for the dream of continuing their dream of winning a tournament at home. First in Bank and then in Kafe Dostoyevsky, w7m defeated the winner of the 2021 Six Invitational.

One of the highlights of the series was the inevitable Diego "Kheyze" Zanello. The player has already broken the record for kills in the competition in a best of three in tier 1.

After this series, Spacestation and Bleed entered the server to fight for their "life" in the competition. The victory went to the North Americans, but the result does not reflect Bleed's performance.

The second map brought a lot of clutch situations. First Wu "Reeps96" Weichen in the first round.

In the game of the day G2 eliminated Team Liquid from the Six Invitational. Just like in the 2023 Six Invitational that they won, G2 continues their victorious journey in the Lower Bracket.

Two 7x4s were enough for the European team to eliminate the local team.

In a post-game interview, the SI 2023 MVP, Benjamin "Benjamaster" Dereli commented on the triumph. The Dane denied there was a special feeling about eliminating a local team:

"It's always nice to send a team home no matter whether from".

Asking if there was any pressure to defend last year's title, Benjamaster responds:

"We are not here to defend a title, we are here to win a new one"

Bliss continues to surprise

Wolves and Bliss joined the server in the last series of the day. The Australian Bliss team is one of the surprises of the competition, but Wolves interrupted the team's dream of going further.

Bliss' dream continues with a surprising victory over Wolves. Despite an unbalanced first map, Team Bliss did not let itself go down and returned to the series.

Solid showings at Oregon and Consulate earned the win for Bliss.

Tomorrow's games of Six Invitational

The number of "alive" teams in the Six Invitational playoffs is reducing. While some teams continue their journeys in the upper bracket, others fight for survival in the SI.
