PUBG MOBILE 3.7 introduces a desert themed map and the Reversal Blade, a powerful item that lets players turn back time.
PUBG MOBILE has launched its 3.7 update: Golden Dynasty, which also coincides with the game's 7th anniversary — playable until May 6, 2025. The update introduces desert-themed features, including an desert battleground, two floating islands, and a camel mount.
A new themed mode, Golden Dynasty, is available in Erangel, Livik, and Rondo maps in both Unranked and Ranked mode. A brand new 8x8 map, Rondo, is also adapted from the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS to be playable on the mobile version. Check out below on what's new on PUBG MOBILE version 3.7 updates.
New Themed Mode - Golden Dynasty
The new themed mode is available from Mar. 6 to May 6, 2025. Players can play it in both Ranked and Unranked mode, in Erangel, Livik, and Rondo.
The map features brand new areas:
Gilded Palace
- Islands Above & Below: Players can choose where to land on between two floating islands hover above and below.
- Strongest Team: Open a hourglass in the main hall of the palace to get a valuable, one-of-a-kind crate.
- Temporal Rewind: Harness temporal powers within a specific area to witness the changes brought by the reversal of time, and seize the opportunity to uncover new treasures.
- Armor Repair: The inside of the palace has armor repair devices. Use them to instantly restore armor and helmet durability. If none are equipped, a set of Lv. 2 armor and helmet will be issued.
Eminence Courtyard
- Secret Room: There is a room on the lower level that houses a treasure vault behind a locked door. To unlock it, players must interact with murals on the upper level and find the key hidden behind the correct one.
- Fountain Pavilion: Jump directly down through a hole in the center to enter the underground Hourglass Realm.
- Mysterious Lore: The walls within the Hourglass Realm are adorned with murals. Interact with them to dust them off and uncover the story through the princess's memories.
Reminisce Zones
- Certain areas of the map have been reverted to a past state due to the effects of Temporal Sands. Affected Areas: Erangel (Quarry, Mylta Power and its surroundings, and the two bridges that lead to the Sosnovka Military Base) and Livik (Midstein),
- Terrain, buildings, vegetation, and drops will all be restored. Special weather will be implemented in these areas to fully recreate the original experience.
- Players can take photos at special photo spots and interact with the picnic blanket for a recovery effect.
- Interact with the Reversal Fragments found in Reminisce Zones for loads of supplies. However, you may trigger a desert trap and be launched into the sky.
- A certain period of time after the match starts, special Reversal Fragments will appear in the Reminisce Zones. Interact with them to get the Golden Scepter and Advanced Reversal Blade.
New Item - Reversal Blade
The Reversal Blade, available only on Golden Dynasty themed mode, has multiple abilities which includes:
- Rewind Time: Use the skill to place a mark on the ground. Use the skill again within a certain duration to transform into a temporal orb and trace back all the steps you've taken until you return to the previously placed mark. After transforming back, your Health and Energy will be restored to their states at the time the mark was placed.
- Reopening Crates: Use the Reversal Blade's rewind ability to reopen previously opened crates for new supplies.
- Vehicle Restoration: Focus on a vehicle and use the rewind ability to restore its Health and fuel and repair its damaged tires.
- Advanced Reversal Blade: This blade has a special rewind ability that can be used one time and is triggered automatically if you get knocked down during the skill's duration. Time will rewind and you will be brought back to the marked location.
Check instruction below on how to get a Reversal Blade:
- Regular Reversal Blades can be found on the map along with upgrade materials.
- Collect the required upgrade materials and use a Forging Station to upgrade the Reversal Blade into an Advanced Reversal Blade.
- Reversal Blades of different levels vary in skill potency, duration, movement speed, and cooldown times.
- While forging, the remaining time will be visible, so be sure to stay alert for approaching enemies.
New Item - Golden Scepter
Use Golden Scepter to summon a zone where all players can replenish their Health. Any player knocked down in this zone gets 1 self-rescue chance.
New Mount - Camel
Camel is a two-seater mount exclusively available in the Golden Dynasty themed mode. Switch to its Golden Mirage form, which temporarily boosts mobility and reduces damage taken. Additionally, the camel can pinpoint the location of nearby supplies.
New Map - Rondo
Rondo is the largest map in the game where traditional and modern aesthetics blend seamlessly together. The map's size in 8x8 km, same size as Erangle and Miramar, and can contain up to 100 players. The map contains over 10 new areas, which includes modern feature such as escalator, concert hall, floating restaurant, car factory, and more.
Rondo's best features include:
- Two Flight Routes: Teams will be randomly assigned to one of two flight routes at the start of the match.
- Terrain Destruction: When there isn't enough cover around you, you can conceal yourself by destroying the terrain. Terrain can be destroyed with pickaxes, grenades, fuel explosions, or vehicle explosions.
- EMP Zone: any electronic features are deactivated when in the EMP Zone, which include electronic reticles on scopes and sights, vehicles with engines, markets, recall towers, and signal jammer backpacks.
New Item - Emergency Cover Flare
Emergency Cover Flare can be picked up or purchased at Stores. Use it to release red smoke to summon two emergency cover objects near the thrown flare. The flare may not take effect when used in enclosed spaces.
New Item - Forest Ghillie Suit
There is a chance to obtain a Forest Ghillie Suit from supply crates in Rondo. Players can equip it to blend seamlessly into Rondo's natural landscape.

The Pico Bus recovers and stores energy when braking or decelerating. This energy is stored in the battery and provides the vehicle with extra endurance.
New Mount - Blanc
Blanc is a 4-seater SUV vehicle available exclusively in Rondo.
New Weapon - JS9
JS9 features stable recoil, delivers solid damage, and is renowned for its balance of speed and power. A rather novel product among SMGs, the JS9 does not require extensive familiarity to use and is therefore a very accessible weapon.

- Bullet Speed: 400 meters/second
- Rate of Fire: 900 rounds/minute

This firearm can be equipped with up to a 6x scope, but cannot be equipped with a foregrip or stock.
New Weapon - Stun Gun
Stun Gun is a Rondo-exclusive weapon. The stun gun temporarily blinds and immobilizes its targets.

- This weapon only has 3 uses.
You can check whether a teammate is stunned via the character status bar.
New Weapon - Pickaxe
Pickaxe is a Rondo-exclusive melee weapon, capable of destroying terrain.

New Music Track - Alan Walker
The iconic guest star from PUBG MOBILE 1st Anniversary, Alan Walker, is back to celebrate the game's 7th Anniversary. Players can get three music tracks, including the legendary "On My Way" and "Faded", as well as a brand new track, "Dust". All music tracks can be claimed for free by following the instructions below:
- "On My Way": Available automatically on your music collection after updating your apk to version 3.7 starting on Mar. 6.
- "Faded": Claim it from The Golden Moon: Layla's Memories event on Chapter 7 starting on Mar. 8.
- "Dust": Claim it from Alan Walker x World of Wonder event starting on Mar. 13.
Additionally in PUBG MOBILE version 3.7, winter-themed features are also available outside the Battle Royale mode, which includes Metro Royale, World of Wonder, and Home mode.
The update also welcomes the new Ranked Season, Cycle 8 Season 23, which will feature brand new rewards: C8S23 Glasses, C8S23 Set, C8S23 Mask, C8S23 Cover, C8S23 - Mini14, and C8S23 Parachute. Each reward can be claimed for free depends on your rank, so make sure to climb as high as you can!
