Shiny Togedemaru releases with Pokémon GO Ultra Unlock: Strength of Steel.

Part two of a series of Ultra Unlocks in Pokémon GO will see the release of Togedemaru in the shiny form. Ultra Unlock: Strength of Steel will start on Thursday, July 25 and run until Tuesday, July 30.

As with most Ultra Unlock events in Pokémon GO, this event carries some really exciting event bonuses. This makes the Ultra Unlock: Strength of Steel a really exciting time to play Pokémon GO. Here's what the event has in store for you.

Shiny Togedemaru is coming to Pokémon GO

The main focus of this event is the Shiny version of Togedemaru being avaliable in Pokémon GO. Togedemaru will spawn frequently during this Ultra Unlock, alongside a variety of other Steel and Electric-type Pokémon.

Here is what both versions of Togedemaru look like in Pokémon GO:

Event Bonuses include HUGE Stardust boost

Ultra Unlock events in Pokémon GO always have great bonuses, and Strength of Steel is no exception. We're getting a big boost to Stardust for catching Pokémon. Stardust is the single most valuable resource in the game, so get out and grab as much as you can.

Here are the bonuses during the event:

  • Additional Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon for Trainers level 31 and up.
  • Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better.
  • Additional Candy for Nice Throws or better.
  • 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
