You will have a second chance to get your hands on this exclusive product.

The Pokémon Centre Destined Rivals ETB's finally appeared for pre-order today, but are now all sold out. As expected, there was a huge amount of interest in these sets and despite a limit of one per person people still missed out.

Pokémon Centre ETB's are always highly sought after. Unlike standard ETB's that you can grab from other retailers like Amazon, Walmart or Target these have some special inclusions. They come with two additional Booster Packs and also a special stamped promo. In addition, Pokémon Centre ETB's have different box art.

As a result, they are highly collectable both for people who want to keep them or sell them. Their market value is usually significantly higher than their retail price.

Naturally, those who missed out were left disappointed. There are usually very few chances to get the special Pokémon Centre ETB's for any one set. However, in a rare update on their FAQ page The Pokémon Company have shared exciting news for collectors.

More Pokémon Centre Destined Rivals ETB's will "become avaliable later this year"

It has been previously reported that The Pokémon Company have been stepping up re-prints of TCG sets in the face of unprecedented demand for Pokémon Card products. It is expected that several recent sets, including Prismatic Evolutions, will have more stock later this year.

However, this can often not include any or many of the highly exclusive Pokémon Centre ETBs. That makes the FAQ update on Destined Rivals even more exciting.

It has been confirmed that we will be getting more Destined Rivals Pokémon Centre ETB's "later this year." This will be in addition to other retailers releasing their Destined Rivals pre-orders over the coming days and weeks ahead of the May 30 release date.

Will I be able to get a second ETB?

What we don't yet know is if you will be able to purchase an ETB from the re-stock if you got one today. This is uncharted waters for Pokémon cards, and things are all being handled differently from normal.

Limits were dropped from two ETB's to one ETB for this drop. This enabled as many people as possible to get their hands on one, and limited bots and scalpers. People waited in the queue to get their chance to purchase it for multiple hours - and stock did last for about three hours after the drop. While many people still missed out, it is great to know more stock is on the way.
