Ralts is returning to Pokémon GO with January’s Community Day Classic.

The next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic will feature Ralts. This will provide Pokémon GO Trainers a second chance to grab a Shiny Ralts, and get a Gardevoir or Gallade with exclusive move, Synchronoise.

Ralts Community Day Classic takes place Sunday, January 25 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time

Choosing Ralts for the next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic is a very popular choice. Not many Pokémon have two very relevant evolutions, with Gardevoir and Gallade both really useful Pokémon. Both Pokémon also have Mega Evolutions, with Mega Gallade coming to Pokémon GO in a Raid Day the weekend before this Community Day Classic.

This is a great chance to meet up with your friends and play some Pokémon GO.

Gardevoir Best Pokémon GO Moveset

Ralts Community Day Classic will allow Trainers a second chance to get Synchronoise as a Charged Attack for Gardevoir. However, Synchronoise is not a very good attack, and is outshined by Psychic which you can get anytime on Gardevoir

Gardevoir is a great Fairy-type attacker in Pokémon GO, and has a very good Mega form. It is also a great Psychic-type attacker too.

The best moveset for Gardevoir is:

  • Confusion OR Charm
  • Psychic
  • Dazzling Gleam

Gallade Best Pokémon GO Moveset

Ralts Community Day Classic will also allow Trainers a second chance to get Synchronoise as a Charged Attack for Gallade. Just like for Gardevoir, Psychic is better than Synchronoise on Gallade.

Gallade is a great Psychic-type attacker in Pokémon GO, and now has a Mega Evolution debuting just before this Community Day.

The best moveset for Gallade is:

  • Confusion
  • Psychic
  • Close Combat

Ralts Community Day Classic: Pokémon GO Tips and Tricks

Ralts Pokémon GO Community Day sadly does not have any XP or Stardust bonuses. However, Ralts is a much desired Pokémon, making this Community Day Classic still worthwhile. If you do want some extra Stardust, using a Star Piece and hatching 10 or 12 km Eggs with the 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance can be profitable.

In addition, sadly we also don't have any Candy bonuses for catching Pokémon during this event. Don't fret, you can still get extra Candy, Candy XL and XP by using a Fairy or Psychic-type Mega Level 3 Mega Pokémon.

Here are the Pokémon you can Mega Evolve to get extra Candy, Candy XL and XP for catching Ralts:

  • Alakazam
  • Slowbro
  • Gardevoir
  • Medicham
  • Latias
  • Latios
  • Rayquaza
  • Mawile
  • Altaria
  • Diancie

Don't forget some other easy tips:

  • Don't catch Pokémon before the event starts. These Pokémon can turn into Ralts.
  • Spin as many Pokéstops as possible, to get event specific Field Research as well as extra resources.
  • Don't activate Lures' or Incense till the event starts to get the extra time.
  • Have fun!
