Pokémon GO’s upcoming season name was just leaked, only days after Pokémon announced the season’s official Community Day schedule.
Pokémon has started rolling out different events and more to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary, including multiple Pokémon GO events. In fact, with the company recently announcing the upcoming season’s Pokémon GO Community Day schedule, leakers have posted the official title surrounding the event.
Let’s take a look at the upcoming Pokémon GO season’s title and all its Community Day dates.
Next Pokémon GO season to be named Memories in Motion
Pokémon GO just had its upcoming season’s name leaked, which will begin on March 4, 2026. The season will be titled Memories in Motion. So, what does this name mean?
There could be various reasons as to why the upcoming Pokémon GO season is set to be called Memories in Motion, but I think the main speculation is that it will revolve around the past (aka, the original 151 Pokémon).

The entire season could easily feature some of our favorites, including Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle, with various other Pokémon from the original games included. While these were the only Pokémon available during the game’s start back in 2016, we have seen countless others added since then, making the original 151 more rare.
This also means that the Community Days planned during this season will more than likely feature these original Pokémon.
All Community Days planned for next season
Every season, Pokémon GO hosts a series of Community Days, which feature different Pokémon that players can catch in abundance, helping players gain enough Candy to evolve them. Usually, the Pokémon included will be themed around the event, so if my speculation is correct, next season’s Community Days will feature rare Pokémon from the original games.

Below are all the dates for Pokémon GO’s Memories in Motion Community Days:
- March 14, 2026
- April 11, 2026
- May 9, 2026
- May 16, 2026
The trend here, is that these events take place on Saturdays, making it much easier for everyone to get involved. Are you excited for the next season of Pokémon GO and its Community Days?
