Is it worth the $4.99?

The Pokémon GO Triumph Together Premium Timed Research brings back the three leader themed costumed Pokémon, Elekid, Ponyta and Lapras. These costumed Pokémon can be shiny, and are some of the rarest shiny Pokémon in the game.

Of course, 10,000 XP and 5000x Stardust is nothing to be sniffed at, but isn't really worth the $4.99 on its own. Neither are the Radar, Incubators, Incense and Lures. Really to evaluate if this Timed Research is worth it for you it comes down purely to how badly you want the costumed Pokémon. If you're a costume collector, then it's totally worth it. If you get a shiny, thats just the cherry on top!

Otherwise, the rewards aren't really worth the price tag this time around. However, the Triumph Together event still has a lot to get stuck into.
