Get ready for early details about the next season of Pokémon GO.

The next season of Pokémon GO looks set to be called Might & Mastery. This information has been discovered by data miners, and is not yet confirmed. However, with a logo and Special Background in the files after a recent update, it seems incredibly likely this is will be the title of the next season.

Might & Mastery is set to start at 10 a.m. local time on Mar. 4. This new season will come in the wake of the Pokémon GO Unova Tour: Global.

We have very limited information about the new season. However, some details released during todays Pokémon Presents. As more information filters out over the next few days, we will keep updating this article - so bookmark it and come back!

Pokémon GO: Might & Mastery will debut Kubfu

Even the title of the next Pokémon GO season hints towards Kubfu coming to Pokémon GO. It seems very likely that we will get this Legendary Pokémon in the game during the season.

This has been supported by further data-mining. Kubfu has been recently changed in the game to no longer be able to evolve. This is the same thing that happened to Cosmog, another Legendary that can evolve, right before it released.

UPDATE: Today's Pokémon Presents announcement officially confirmed the debut of Kubfu and evolution Urshifu during the next Pokémon GO season.

The implication is that this will result in Kubfu being handled the same way as Cosmog. The seasonal Special Research will be centred around Kubfu, learning more about it and then eventually evolving it. Like Cosmog, Kubfu has two evolution options. One is Single Strike Style Urshifu, and the other is Rapid Strike Style Urshifu.

Mega Audino to debut in Pokémon GO during Might & Mastery

In a teaser trailer posted on social media, several other new features were teased. This includes confirmation that we will be getting Mega Audino during the next Pokémon GO season, Might & Mastery.

The video dropped other hints, including what seems like Entei, Suicuine and Raikou debuting in their Dynamax forms.

Other things to look out for

We know that the next season has a lot of events, perhaps even too many. So, expect a lot of content across the next three months. From the announced event dates we know to expect new Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon, thanks to the Max Battle Days on April 19. and May 25.

Addionally, there are several Raid and Shadow Raid Day's featured. Which Pokémon could be returning in a Shadow Raid Day? With Shadow Ho-Oh and Shadow Lugia both having returned recently, perhaps we will see Latias and Latios return in the Shadow form?

However, from the Trailer shown, it seems that this could be Shadow Dialga. It would be unusual for this Pokémon to debut in Raids and not via Giovanni, so stay tuned for more details on Shadow Dialga during Pokémon GO: Might & Mastery.
