The Just My Cup of Tea event starts the next Pokémon GO season with a bang.
The first event of the new season in Pokémon GO will be Just My Cup of Tea. The aptly named event will debut the Black Tea Pokémon Sinistea and its evolution, Polteageist into the game. The event starts at the same time as the new season, December 3 at 10am local time. It will run until Saturday, December 7 at 8pm local time.

Just My Cup of Tea event brings Sinistea and Polteageist into Pokémon GO
The Just My Cup of Tea event brings Sinistea and Polteageist into the game for the first time. They won't be spawning in the Wild, so Trainers will need to complete Field Research tasks or Raids in order to encounter this brand new Pokémon.
In order to get Polteageist, you will need to evolve it from Sinistea with 50 candy.
Event Bonuses
- 2× friendship bonus damage in raids.
- 50% more Stardust from completing raids.
Incense Encounters
During the Just My Cup of Tea event, event themed Pokémon will be attracted to incense during the event. There will also be increased shiny odds on these Pokémon, so this is a great chance to grab some extra shinies.
The Pokémon attracted to Incense are:
- Oddish
- Miltank
- Combee
- Gothita
- Litwick
- Spritzee
Just My Cup of Tea Pokémon GO Wild Encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.
- Slowpoke
- Taillow
- Slakoth
- Duskull
- Starly
- Greavard
Besides Greavard, all of these Pokémon can also be shiny. Their rates are not boosted, unlike Incense Pokémon.

The Just My Cup of Tea event will have the usual Pokémon GO Showcases, Field Research Tasks, Timed Research Quest and Collection Challenges.
