The Harvest Festival is back in Pokémon GO.
The Harvest Festival is back in Pokémon GO, and this year it brings Shiny Smoliv to the game for the first time. There will also be an increased chance to get your hands on a Shiny Pumpkaboo, as well as some other exciting event bonuses.
The Harvest Festival runs from Thursday, November 7 until Tuesday, November 12. Like usual, the event will start at 10am and end at 8pm local time.
Here's everything that the Harvest Festival has in store this year.
Pokémon GO Harvest Festival Event Bonuses
There are a range of event bonuses during this event. They are:
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Pumpkaboo.
- Mossy Lure Modules will attract different Pokémon during the event, such as Alolan Exeggutor, Snorlax, Pumpkaboo, and Smoliv.
Shiny Pumpkaboo is one of the most desirable shiny Pokémon, so this event will be a great chance to get your hands on one if you haven't grabbed it already.
If you're after some Mossy Lure Modules, a great way to get your hands on 'Premium' Lure Modules is as a reward for doing well in PokéStop Showcases. There are Showcases every Saturday to Sunday, then Monday to Wednesday.

With the Shiny debut of Smoliv, all of these Pokémon can be shiny. That makes this event a good time to hunt some shiny Pokémon for your collection.
Other event features
As always, there is a range of things to do during this event in Pokémon GO. These include a Paid Timed Research. Priced at $2, this will include the following rewards:
- Two Mossy Lure Modules
- One Incense
- One Lucky Egg
- Encounters with Smoliv
There will also be more rewards avaliable to Trainers who can complete the Collection Challenges. These will reward Stardust and encounters with Smoliv. The Smoliv hunting doesn't stop there. Event-themed Field Research tasks will be avaliable, and will either reward you encounters with Pumpkaboo or Smoliv.
