Pokémon GO Halloween 2024 Part 2 will release Gigantamax Gengar

Spooky season is always a fantastic time to play Pokémon GO, and 2024's Halloween event is split into two parts. With part one already underway, here is everything coming in part 2.

The Pokémon GO Halloween 2024 Part 2 event gets under way immediately after part 1 ends, starting on Monday, October 28 at 10am and running until Sunday, November 3 at 8pm local time.

This event will bring Gigantamax Gengar to the game, as well as several new costumed Pokémon and some fantastic Rare Candy and Rare Candy XL bonuses.

There are a range of really exciting bonuses during this event. This includes a special Halloween only bonus on October 31. Here are all the bonuses this event has in store:

Increased chance to encounter the following Shiny Pokémon in raids.

Increased chance to hatch the following Shiny Pokémon from Eggs.

On October 31, costumed Pokémon will have a small chance to give Rare Candy or Rare Candy XL when caught with Nice Throws or better.

The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.

The following Pokémon will hatch from 7 km Eggs.

In good news, all of these Pokémon can be shiny. Grabbing a shiny costumed Pokémon is always a very rare addition to your collection.

The Pokémon GO Halloween 2024 event will debut Gigantamax Gengar. This will be the fourth Gigantamax Pokémon to release into the game, following the three Johto starters.

Gigantamax Gengar will be in six-star Max Battles from October 31 at 10:00 a.m. to November 3, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. This Pokémon can be shiny.

In addition to Gigantamax Gengar Max Battles, there will also be several Pokémon in Raids during the event.
