Charizard, Gengar, Venusaur, and Blastoise — all Gigantamax forms of these Kanto Pokémon will once again appear in all Power Spots this April.
Pokémon GO officially announces the return of the Go Bigger event from 2024, named Replay: GO Bigger, where players can once again capture Gigantamax Pokémon with desirable IVs.
Replay: GO Bigger is scheduled on April 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., regardless of your time zone. If you need more details about the event, here is everything you need to know to prepare ahead of time.
All featured Gigantamax in Replay: GO Bigger 2026

Once the event is active, expect to see these Gigantamax Pokémon lurking at the top of all Power Spots around you. We’ll also share a separate guide for each of them, so you can identify which Pokémon you should use to defeat a specific Gigantamax form.
| Featured Pokemon | Weaknesses | Hundo CP | Full Guide |
|---|---|---|---|
Gigantamax Charizard | Rock, Electric, Water | 1651 CP | Full guide for Gigantamax Charizard |
Gigantamax Venusaur | Fire, Flying, Ice, Psychic | 1554 CP | Full guide for Gigantamax Venusaur |
Gigantamax Blastoise | Electric, Grass | 1409 CP | Full guide for Gigantamax Blastoise |
Gigantamax Gengar | Dark, Ghost, Ground, and Psychic | 1644 CP | Full guide for Gigantamax Gengar |
The Replay: GO Bigger event will definitely attract a lot of Charizard fans, so if you join this event, you will likely see Trainers flocking towards Power Spots containing a Gigantamax Charizard.
Unlike the event from 2024, its 2026 iteration added Gigantamax Gengar into the fray, which is widely considered an S-tier choice for Max Battle Attackers. As a Ghost-/Poison-type, Gigantamax Gengar makes a highly efficient counter for Fairy, Psychic, Grass, and fellow Ghost types.
After defeating a Gigantamax Pokémon, you will be rewarded with an encounter. Check its CP and compare it with the values listed above to see if the Gigantamax Pokémon you encountered matches the recorded Hundo CP.
For example, if the Gigantamax Venusaur you encounter has a CP of 1554, it means it is a hundo, or a Pokémon with perfect IVs in Attack, Defense, and Stamina. A Pokémon with 100% IVs performs better than others due to its higher overall stats.

Tips for the Replay: GO Bigger in Pokémon GO
Building a team for Max Battles is a completely different mechanic from the way you pick your Pokémon in raids. In a Max Battle, your choices are limited to three Pokémon that can turn Dynamax or Gigantamax, each of which should fill a certain role.
As a rule of thumb, your team should include a main attacker, a defender, and a healer. The attacker should have moves that the opposing Pokémon is weak to, while the defender should have a typing that resists or absorbs incoming damage.
As for the healer, pick a Max Battle Pokémon with an unlocked Max Spirit move, so it can heal not only itself but also the Pokémon of your allies. As long as your team is built around these roles, you will significantly improve your chances of victory.
If you have Max Mushrooms, this is the perfect event to use them. These items temporarily boost the damage dealt by your Pokémon in Dynamax or Gigantamax form, giving you extra power to quickly bring down Max Pokémon.
Finally, the more allies you have, the easier it becomes to win Max Battles. Connect with your local Pokémon GO community through Discord or Campfire to join meetups and find groups of Trainers to play with throughout the event.
