The party feature is finally here in Pokémon Go. Players can now team up and enjoy the game with their closest friends!

When Pokémon Go first released, it was revolutionary. Everyone stepped out, socialized, and bonded with each other over their love for the game. However, the game falls short in its current state. Thankfully, the game just announced a feature that addresses this. It involves the Pokémon Go Party Everywhere You Go event. Players who live near each other and meet regularly in person can create parties and complete objectives together. Here's what it's all about.

What is the party feature?

The party feature is a common multiplayer that allows players within proximity of each other to create a party and play together. In Pokémon Go, this feature gives players in a party unique objectives called Party Challenges. They also get access to several social features like sharing their progress with each other and showing off their collections. Players within a party also gain an advantage in team-based activities like raids and gym battles.

Players in a party gain access to a damage booster known as Party Power when they participate in raid battles. This charges up faster depending on the number of party members present in the raid. Whenever a power is used, it doubles the damage of the next charged attack from every Pokémon belonging to a party member.

What are the event rewards?

The Party Everywhere You Go event runs alongside the Spooky Season event. This event ends on Oct. 31. All Pokémon Go players have access to a special research quest that can only be completed while being in a party. The tasks revolve around completing Party Challenges and catching specific Pokémon while playing with a party. Players can earn Eevee t-shirts for their in-game character by completing this special research. All four stages unlock t-shirts with Eevee and its Kanto evolution, which are Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon.

The party feature is live and accessible to all Pokémon Go players around the world.
