Get ready for Mankey Community Day in Pokémon GO.
The next Pokémon GO Community Day will feature Mankey. This will provide Pokémon GO Trainers a chance to grab a Shiny Mankey and get an Annihilape with its exclusive move, Rage Fist.
Mankey Community Day takes place Sunday, November 10 from 1400-1700 local time.
This Mankey Community Day seems like it will be worthwhile for those of you who really like to battle other trainers in the Great and Ultra Leagues. Rage Fist is a very powerful move, and Annihilape has been a strong PvP Pokémon in the past. While it was nerfed this season, Rage Fist could put it right back into the meta. So, more than ever this is a great chance to meet up with your friends and play some Pokémon GO.
Mankey Pokémon GO Community Day bonuses
The following bonuses will be in effect for trainers during Mankey Community Day in Pokémon GO.
- Limited-time Evolution requirement: you can evolve Primeape into Annihilape after catching 20 Fighting-type Pokémon with Primeape as your buddy. (Lasts until 10pm local time)
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- 3x XP when catching Pokémon
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- Be on the lookout for Showcases at different PokéStops during Mankey Community Day
- Take a few Snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- One additional special trade (for a maximum of 3)*
- Trades cost 50% less Stardust*
*These bonuses are active until 10pm local time.
There will also be a $1 Research Ticket, Showcases and special item-bundles in the Pokémon GO Store.
Featured Pokémon: Mankey
During the event times, Mankey will be appearing much more frequently in the wild. You'll also have a increased chance of catching a Shiny Mankey.
There will also be a featured move for evolving Mankey. Any Mankey evolved into Primeape, or any Primeape evolved into Annihilape during Mankey Pokémon GO Community Day will learn Rage Fist, a Ghost-type move. If you have any Primeape or Annihilape already, the only way they can learn this move is through an Elite TM.

Mankey Community Day will add Rage Fist as a Charged Attack for Annihilape. This move will give some huge power to Annihilape in PvP.

Mankey Community Day: Pokémon GO Tips and Tricks
This Mankey Pokémon GO Community Day is primarily a great chance to get a strong Annhilape for PvP and any extra Shiny's you may need. Remember that Annihilape needs 2/15/15 IVs for Great League and 0/15/15 for Ultra League. Keep your eye on your catches and don't get rid of any with good PvP IV's if you're interested in PvP.
We're waiting to hear from Niantic what the bonuses will be for this Community Day. However, as we had the (unpopular) Egg Hatch Distance bonus for Sewaddle Community Day we should get either boosted XP or boosted Stardust.
We also might have extra Candy and Candy XL for catching Pokémon during this event. But, you can boost that up even further by using a Fighting-type Mega Level 3 Mega Pokémon.

Don't forget some other easy tips:
- Don't catch Pokémon before the event starts. These Pokémon can turn into Mankey.
- Spin as many Pokéstops as possible, to get event specific Field Research as well as extra resources.
- Don't activate Lures or Incense till the event starts to get the extra time.
