Trying to get more Mega Stones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A? Here is a guide on where you can find them.

One of the biggest appeals of the Kalos region in Pokémon is the addition of Mega Evolution. In fact, none of the other games really explores Mega Evolution other than a select few. Well, Pokémon Legends: Z-A has brought Mega Evolution back, meaning players will need to collect Mega Stones to Mega Evolve their Pokémon.

Here is how to get Mega Stones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

How to get Mega Stones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

There are various ways to get Mega Stones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The game has made sure it was not left lacking in different Mega Stones, meaning quite a few Pokémon can take on Mega Evolution.

How to get Mega Stones:

  • Trade in Mega Shards at Quasartico Inc.
  • Defeat Rogue Mega Evolved-Pokémon
  • Mystery Gifts

There are only a few ways to get Mega Stones, but they are pretty simple to acquire.

Trade in Mega Shards

One of the easiest ways to get Mega Stones is to trade in your Mega Shards at Quasartico Inc. This is the building that looks sort of like the Eiffel Tower if its top half were cut off.

Some Mega Stones require more Mega Shards, however, to purchase them. To find Mega Shards, travel around the city and destroy the pink rocks. Once you have enough to purchase the Mega Stone you want, head to Quasartico Inc. and talk to the lady at the front desk.

Defeat Rogue Mega Evolved-Pokémon

Another way to get Mega Stones, and a much harder way than trading in Mega Shards, is defeating Rogue Mega Evolved-Pokémon. These are Pokémon that have Mega Evolved for no reason. If you have been playing the story, you would know that these Pokémon are a huge part of the plotline.

In fact, you will have to battle a few just to advance the main plot.

Once you defeat a Rogue Mega Evolved-Pokémon, you will get its Mega Stone.

Mystery Gifts

Every once in a while, the game will include a special limited-time Pokémon in Mystery Gifts, which can be accessed through Link Play. On the game's release, Pokémon Legends: Z-A offered a Ralts and Gardevoirite (Gardevoir's Mega Stone) through a Mystery Gift.

Literally anyone who had access to wi-fi was able to get it. It was that easy. And Mega Gardevoir is extremely powerful.
