Everything announced during Pokémon Presents 2025

Pokémon Presents 2025 is finally here, and coming with it are a whole host of announcements. We have some really exciting announcements about a whole host of Pokémon projects, games and more.

If you missed Pokémon Presents 2025, or simply want a recap of all the news that dropped today, we have you covered. Here are all of the key things announced today to celebrate Pokémon Day 2025.

Pokémon TGC Pocket is getting a brand new set, called Triumphant Light. This set leaked ahead of Pokémon Presents 2025 but is now officially confirmed. We now also know that there will be a new Ranked system in TGC Pocket.

In a surprise announcement, The Pokémon Company revealed a brand new title called Pokémon Champions. This title will be focused on the Pokémon Battles you know and love, promising global battles across a range of different platforms including Mobile and Nintendo Switch. GameFreak are involved in the planning of the game.

It has also been announced that you can use Pokémon from Pokémon HOME in this game, so those Pokémon you have collected can be used in this exciting new title.

There was not a release date shared for Pokémon Champions today.

We, as expected, got some details about Pokémon Legends ZA today. We now know who the starters will be in the game, have official confirmation about Mega Evolution and also have a refined release window.

There wasn't too much information shared, but after a year without any news, this is still a very welcome update.

With Mega Evolution returning to mainline Pokémon games, the Pokémon company are also returning Mega Evolutions to TCG. It has been a long time since Mega Pokémon featured in TCG sets, so this will open up a huge potential range of new cards.
