Get ready for our first Legendary Dynamax Pokémon.
We're getting our first ever Legendary Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO, with Dynamax Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres all coming to the game over the next few weeks. They will all debut via Max Mondays, and then be in Max Battles for the remainder of the week.
These three Dynamax Pokémon are our first ever Dynamax Legendaries and will give Trainers some extra choices when taking on Max Battles and Gigantamax Battles moving forward. All three of the new Dynamax Pokémon can be shiny.
It has been pointed out by Niantic that these three Pokémon will only appear once during the current Pokémon GO season. That means if you want to add these Dynamax Pokémon to your collection, you can't miss out.

These Pokémon will be Five-Star Max Battles
These will be the first non Gigantamax Pokémon to feature in Five-Star Max Battles. It's not clear how many Trainers will be needed to win these Battles, or how many will be able to enter in one lobby. The limit for Gigantamax Max Battles is 40, whereas all Dynamax Pokémon have been up to 4 people so far.
Also you will be able to battle Pokémon that are good counters in Max Battles during the week that each of the birds are featured. Keep your eyes on nearby Power Spots if you are in need some more counters for these battles.
