The next season of Pokémon GO is going to get off to a great start, with the Necrozma Raid Day. This event will see the return of both Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings Necrozma in Raids. Trainers will be able to get their hands on these powerful Pokémon, last seen during Pokémon GO Fest 2024.

Necrozma Fusion Raid Day coming to Pokémon GO
The Necrozma Fusion Raid Day will take place from 2pm until 5pm on Saturday, December 14.
Event Bonuses:
The following bonuses will be in effect during the event.
- Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma will appear more frequently in raids.
- Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a total of seven).
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Necrozma in raids.

There will also be an event ticket, priced at $5 (or equivalent pricing) which will grant you the following bonuses during the event.
- Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 15)
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles
- 2× Stardust from Raid Battles
These bonuses will be effective from 2pm until 10pm local time. That will let you get some extra Remote Raids in after you've finished battling in your local area. There be a Necrozma Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box on the Pokémon GO Web Store that will include a Free Premium Battle Pass at no additional cost.
Necrozma Adventure Effect moves to return
This Raid Day will provide a second chance to get these two powerful Necrozma Fusion forms in Pokémon GO. Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma are two of the absolute best Pokémon in the game for both PvP and Raids. They both have an Adventure Effect ability too, which you will be able to get by fusing Necrozma with either Lunala or Solgaleo.
You'll need 1000 Fusion Energy to Fuse Necrozma with Pokémon. You'll be able to gather the Fusion Energy by completing Raids, like Mega Energy. It's not clear if Trainers will get another Cosmog encounter yet, so stay tuned for that.
