Hatch Day is upon us once again!
Elekid and Magby will be the focus of the latest Pokémon GO Hatch Day, with both Pokémon featuring in 2 km Eggs for the duration of the event. There are boosted shiny odds, Free Timed Research and a lot more to dive into.
So, here is everything the upcoming Pokémon GO Hatch Day has in store, Trainers.
Charged Embers Pokémon GO Hatch Day
The Charged Embers Elekid and Magby Hatch Day will take place on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. During this time Elekid and Magby will hatch much more frequently from 2 km Eggs. In addition the chances to hatch Shiny Elekid and Shiny Magby will be greatly increased.
Event Bonuses
The following bonuses will be in effect during the event.
- 2× Candy from hatching Eggs.
- You’ll have an increased chance of hatching Shiny Elekid and Shiny Magby!
- Increased chance of receiving 2 km Eggs from spinning PokéStops.
Elekid and Magby Hatch Day Timed Research
There will be a free event-exclusive Timed Research awarding a Super Incubator and XP. Because this is a Timed Research, it will expire. So make sure you have completed all tasks and claimed all rewards before the end of the event, or they will be lost.
Then there will also be a Paid Timed Research ticket, for $1, that will grant an extra bonus and some extra rewards.

These rewards also expire at the end of the event.
Bonus to help clear eggs out before the Elekid Magby Hatch Day in Pokémon GO
Additionally, there will be some bonuses that start before the event gets under way. This will help you Hatch more Eggs, clear out your Egg Storage and be ready to take advantage of the event.
This bonus is 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators, and it will be active from Friday, December 27, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 29, 2024.
